So I was eating a piece of cake the other day and it was delicious. However, as I was eating it I came across a piece that tasted too sweet. The icing to cake ratio was off. Too much icing. This reminded me of when I was a kid and I went to a lot of birthday parties where there was cake. I never was like most of the kids who wanted all of the blue, yellow, green, red, and white icing. I always wanted more cake and less icing. I think some stuff is already sweet enough.
The cake-to-icing ratio should be about 6 to 1, if the icing is really good. Otherwise, maybe 10 to 1. Just my opinion. This is heavy stuff to ponder…
